TAQA’s Sliding Side Door (SSD) enables selective flow in production and injection directions.
The SSD can be combined with TAQA’s inflow technologies to provide inflow control when in the open position. The SSD can be deployed in an open or closed position and can be selectively and optionally manipulated using the industry standard Otis B profile to open or close. The SSD can be designed with shrouding, providing a debris barrier to control solids in carbonate reservoirs. It can also be run using a sand screen from the FloElite, FloUltra or FloDirect range for sandstone reservoirs.
