Over the past 10 years ARGAS has operated four Land 3D crews and one Land 2D Vibroseis seismic crew which combined have acquired over 50,000 sq of seismic data in Saudi Arabia alone. ARGAS implements their advanced SercelTM technology to acquire this information. The equipment they deploy facilitates optimal productivity, reduces downtime, lowers power consumption and reduces equipment weight by as much as 20%. These quality services work to reduce operating costs while enhancing productivity. In addition to this, Argas have acquired marine data from the Qatar peninsula to the Iraqi border, including operation of some of the world’s largest Ocean Bottom Cable Crews. The ARGAS Natural Resource Unit also delivers advanced mineral exploration and characterisation techniques. Other competencies include Geological mapping and Geotechnical investigations, carbon capture and storage, and hydrogeology.
