Primarily a tool manufacturer, Oliden create and distribute pioneering MWD and LWD machinery that can grant oil and gas companies true technological independence. Oliden products maximise draining capacity and minimize drilling hazards through intelligent technology with capabilities such as close-monitoring borehole conditions and facilitating smooth geosteering. For Brownfield recovery Oliden Technology optimises formation evaluation accuracy, and monitors fracture networks and borehole events enabling smoother operations in extending the life of a reservoir beyond its production plateau. Oliden LWD tools also ensure a petrophysicist is armed with exact measurements in real-time to authentically grasp a reservoirs’ environment, and therefore react dynamically during the drilling operations.

Oliden Technology’s team of talented engineers unite experience spanning multiple domains equating to 400 years of oilfield tools development ranging from resistivity, to nuclear and acoustic, as well as 100 years’ worth of expertise in manufacturing and testing.
Among their selection of Azimuthel Technologies that facilitate solutions like well placement and geosteering is the “GeoFusion” Laterolog Resisitivity and Imaging LWD tool, which received the OTC Spotlight on New Technology award.
Oliden also produce a variety of Imaging and Resistivity technologies that provide unparalleled clarity in downhole geology as well as achieving the deepest reading of bed boundary detection ever recorded (20ft). Their advanced Telemetry Technologies such as the ‘TeleFusion’ tool also enable premium digital signal processing and enhanced noise immunity, meaning pulsers can operate deeper and at a greater speed. Also delivering Surface Visualisation through high speed MWD telemetry, Oliden’s downhole data can generate subsurface structures in real-time and reach multiple bed boundaries.
