ARGAS and BAUER to advance the Arab Saudi Mining and Natural Resource Capabilities

Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, 16/10/2024 — The Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Company (ARGAS), a Saudi-based leading exploration service provider, that operates in the Saudi mining sector since 1966 has announced its collaboration with BAUER Resources (BAUER), a German-based global innovator in mining and natural resource solutions. The collaboration agreement will expand and improve the range of services available in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting the ambitious growth targets for mining and natural resources under Saudi Vision 2030. “The collaboration between ARGAS and BAUER will unlock significant capabilities to enable the development of our people and technologies to ensure a sustainable wealth of natural resources to our industries and societies” said Moath Al Rawi, the Chief Executive Officer of ARGAS. “This agreement will import vast knowledge and know-how to build a stronger national champion enabling the progress of our key industries and developing a sustainable future” he added.

ARGAS, since its inception in 1966, has been an instrumental contributor of Geological and Geophysical services in the Kingdom, serving energy sector, mining, Geothermal and Geotechnical, Geohazard, GIS and surveying, and exploration services. ARGAS, throughout its history, has been exploring the lands of the Kingdom for minerals and natural wealth, and then expanded its services to nine other countries in the past twenty years.

The strategic collaboration between ARGAS and BAUER recognizes the significant potential of Saudi Arabia’s natural resources, and the combined capabilities to elevate the service delivery in local markets. The agreement comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is undergoing a rapid expansion of its mining sector, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
